Description
Ensure quality workmanship and report unsafe conditions immediately. Manage shipping and receiving processes, including packaging, labeling, loading/unloading, and documentation. Verify styles and quantities of incoming and outgoing materials against shipping labels and schedules. Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and proper use of the AS400 system. Coordinate with logistics providers and customer service to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Maintain adequate levels of shipping and packaging supplies. Keep shipping/receiving areas clean and organized per 5S standards; complete daily housekeeping checklists. Stage and restock materials in appropriate locations using packing slips and inventory systems. Investigate and resolve material discrepancies; report issues to purchasing as needed. Support production by staging materials and assisting with subassemblies or basic assembly tasks. Maintain clean production floor aisles using floor scrubber as directed. Operate company vehicle for material pickups and deliveries from supplier sites. High School Diploma or Equivalent GED from accredited institution Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the work location; no relocation benefit provided Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs, unassisted and throughout the day as needed Requirement to train and qualify for forklift driving license Valid driver's license in good standing is required Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field Strong understanding of Vista, Mapics and AS/400 inventory functions Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel ELSS experience with emphasis on 5S and CI activities POSITION CRITERIA: 1. 2. 3. 4.
