Description As a Shipping Technician, you are responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by ensuring accuracy, quality, and on time delivery. You play a key role in the final stage of the customer experience by packaging, inspecting, and shipping orders while maintaining an organized and efficient work area. Why SendCutSend? What you’ll do Package customer orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe and accurate delivery Determine optimal package size and shipping method based on order contents and requirements Verify part counts and perform final visual inspections to ensure orders meet quality standards Prepare pallets for efficient freight shipments Process shipping documentation and update shipment details in internal systems Assist with department inventory tracking and basic inventory control tasks Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and quality Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping or inventory systems Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in packaging products for parcel or freight shipments Familiarity with inventory control processes Forklift or pallet jack experience Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment Work Environment Manufacturing and production floor environment Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials Use of required protective equipment at all times Use of skin packing machine Use of custom box making machine Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage Paid holidays + PTO 401K with company match Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Short-term disability Lunch provided daily Schedule Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am
