Description

Shipping & Transport Coordination Employee (m/f/d)

Location: Düsseldorf

For a successful company in the steel trading and logistics sector, we are looking for a dedicated employee (m/f/d) for shipping processing and transport management as soon as possible.

Your tasks

Planning and coordination of national and international truck transports
Monitoring of delivery dates and shipment progress
Communication with freight forwarders, customers and internal specialist departments
Organization and management of time slot and delivery bookings via customer portals
Creation and processing of export and shipping documents
Assistance with customs clearance
Handling of transport deviations and complaints
Creation and management of transport orders in the ERP system

Your profile

Completed commercial training, ideally in the field of freight forwarding, logistics or foreign trade
Professional experience in transport planning and shipping in the steel sector (pipes, profiles, etc.; specialist knowledge in these areas is an advantage) is desirable.
Knowledge of export and customs regulations is an advantage.
Structured, independent and reliable work ethic
Teamwork and communication skills
Good English skills, both spoken and written.
Confident use of MS Office applications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
