Experienced Shipwright/Boatbuilder Required
Due to further expansion and ever increasing demand for our high quality services, Berthon has immediate positions available for experienced Shipwrights/ Boatbuilder to join our highly skilled team on refit and repair projects on both commercial vessels and private yachts

The following attributes are essential for this role:

  • Time served Apprenticeship with City & Guilds Level 3
  • Evidence of good working knowledge of structural composite build and repair processes using epoxy and polyester based resins
  • Good working knowledge of wooden boat repairs and joinery
  • Interior and exterior fit-out experience
  • Stern tube, A bracket and P bracket line-ups
  • Through hull penetrations and fittings
  • Deck hardware fitting
  • Gelcoat repairs and finishing.
  • Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards
  • Be motivated
  • Reliable
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Proven leisure marine industry track record.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £21.35 per hour
