Oversees daily shooting‑range operations by opening and closing facilities, monitoring activities, assisting visitors and shooters, and enforcing all range safety rules and wildlife regulations Provides high‑quality customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns and complaints, and ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all users Maintains facilities, equipment, and grounds through routine inspections, basic repairs, upkeep of target systems and benches, signage maintenance, landscaping, and snow or debris removal Operates and maintains tools, vehicles, and equipment while supporting general operations through equipment inspections, supply ordering, participation in meetings, training, and special events Keeps accurate records and documentation related to range use, incidents, violations, and maintenance, and communicates relevant information to supervisors and Wildlife Officers; provides testimony in court when required Works outdoors in a hands‑on, collaborative role alongside staff and law‑enforcement partners, supporting special activities and ensuring safe, efficient range operations in all weather conditions Starting hourly pay of $21.93/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $25.77/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
