JOB OVERVIEW

As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. SKILLS

  • Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is an advantage.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following food safety guidelines.
  • Be up to date on wines we stock, being able to offer a wide range and know about the wine range.
  • Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  • Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including proper sanitation practices.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
