We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary techniques is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.

• Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling products when appropriate.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
