Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and energetic Shop Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is physically demanding and requires someone who thrives in a high-paced, hands-on environment. You will play a key part in supporting our floral design team and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning more about the flower industry. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, bend, squat, reach, carry, stand for extended periods during your shift Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Frequent use of hands and arms for lifting, restocking, carrying, etc. Comfortable working in cooler environments and handling buckets of water and floral supplies Schedule Full-time or part-time Must be able to work weekends and holidays Hours vary from 10am to 8pm Responsibilities Perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and moving of flowers, buckets, arrangements, glass, and larger items. Floral inventory including inputting accurate counts through our Admin system. Work in a fast-paced environment to intake and process floral materials to company standards. Including submitting all damaged flowers to the Shop Assistant Lead for credit. Maintain fully stocked supplies, including glassware and other inventory items. Maintain cleanliness of the store, storefront, cooler, bathrooms, and parking lot.
