MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work as part of a small team in a specialist bakery shop/attraction. Providing final presentation of products through packaging and offering first class customer service through knowledge and communication to a wide range of international customers. Very occasional work at ‘pop-up’ shops and events. Our new shop refurbishment has created an even more covid secure working environment.
MAIN TASKS OF THE JOB:
· Preparation of stock
· Packaging of stock and wrapping product
· Customer Care
· Advising and informing
· Using Electronic Point of Sale
· Taking Orders
· Preparing work areas and cleaning work areas
· Shop housekeeping
· Stock control – re-stocking and stock rotation
· Presentation of stock
· Delivery of group talks to visiting groups
· The flexibility to work at shows as and when required
Days of work: 5 days a week, (including a Sat or Sun) other days TBC
Hours of work: Full time: 9.00 am to 5.45pm* (1 hour for lunch)
Rate of Pay: £13.00 an hour
Bonus: An annual bonus of £1,000* (Only payable on successful completion of worked employment to January 1st each year, pro rata from employment date). Enhanced payment for muti-lingual applicants.
Length of Contract: Permanent
