REQUIREMENTS:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Barbershop Assistant to join our team. This is a key support role in helping the barbershop run smoothly and ensuring every client has a great experience. You’ll be responsible for general cleaning, customer care, and assisting the barbers with day-to-day tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet clients and offer refreshments (tea, coffee, water)
• Shampoo and rinse clients’ hair as required
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and the shop floor
• Sweep up hair regularly between cuts
• Assist barbers by preparing tools, towels, and products
• Handle simple customer queries and help with bookings, if needed
• Keep stock of supplies (e.g., towels, products) organized
• Ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere in the shop
