Description Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Washes shop truck, inside and out. · Cleans for lift and power equipment. · Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. · Removes all debris from the lot. · Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures. · Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager. · Returns cores to storage area. · Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. · Runs errands as directed by service manager. · Sweeps technician stalls and service department floors. · Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. · Reports any safety issues immediately to management. · Understands and compiles with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state and local regulations. · Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection. · Keeps current on all training requirements; such as GM training, Compliance training and other training as assigned by manager. · Sets a good example by maintaining a healthy work demeanor and cooperating with other managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork. Represents Puklich Chevrolet positively when out in the community. Requirements · Valid Driver's License · Good Driving Record
Responsibilities
The Shop Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the shop by washing vehicles, cleaning equipment, and managing waste disposal. Additional duties include assisting technicians with spills and running errands as directed by the service manager.
