OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Shop & Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about local produce and customer service, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café & all aspects of retail while in the shop.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in shop & café/restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong people skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment while also being self-motivated
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including Saturday.

  Pay: £12.35-£12.85 per hour
  Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages & assist and serve our in house products.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of food safety
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both shop & café area, including tables, counters, and equipment
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, being part of a small team you must be reliable.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients and seasonal produce to provide recommendations to customers
