Apply now Bright.com/Careers Shop Fabrication Associate The Shop Fabrication Associate plays an important role in supporting Bright’s operations by building, repairing, and maintaining custom equipment used for events. This role focuses on carpentry and fabrication projects, including constructing custom structures, modifying equipment, and assisting with specialty builds for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale productions. This position works in a shop environment using carpentry tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and building unique projects while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Occasionally, this role may support installations or project work on-site as needed. Job Responsibilities Build and fabricate custom structures and equipment for events Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental equipment Use carpentry skills to assemble, modify, and maintain event products Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately according to project requirements Inspect products to ensure they meet Bright’s quality and safety standards Assist with staining, sanding, assembly, and other fabrication tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Support warehouse and operations teams with custom projects Occasionally assist with on-site installations when required Qualifications for Shop Fabrication Associate Experience in carpentry, fabrication, construction, or maintenance work Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Ability to read measurements and complete projects accurately Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced shop or warehouse environment Valid driver’s license required for occasional site visits Spanish speaking is a plus Reliable, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods Comfortable working in a fabrication shop or warehouse environment Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Benefits Weekly pay Full-time benefits: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Team Member appreciation events, BBQs, and company celebrations Opportunities for growth within Bright Event Rentals Why Work at Bright Event Rentals?
