As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Technicians.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in the service department.
• Volkswagen Experience is preferred
• Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.
• 310S Automotive service technician trade certification.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.

• Set up and operation of triage and the quality control system.
• Provides technical advice to service customers and technicians.
• Reviews apprentices’ skills and abilities and recommends additional and ongoing training accordingly.
• Diagnoses and performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures.
• Discusses any problems related to the repair with service management.
• Performs other duties as required by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
