Job Details Job Location: Shamrock - Stow, OH 44224 Job Purpose: - The Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. - Coordinate and schedule daily tasks and projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget. - Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer specifications. - Maintain and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for efficient operations. - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall workshop efficiency. - Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development. - Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the workshop, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Maintain accurate records of work completed, inventory levels, and any incidents or accidents that occur in the workshop. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve workshop practices and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a shop or manufacturing environment. - Proven experience in managing and leading a team of technicians or mechanics. - Demonstrated history of working with various tools and machinery relevant to the industry. - Experience in scheduling, planning, and overseeing maintenance and repair activities.
