JOB OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a knowledgeable, hands-on Licensed Mechanic Shop Foreman to lead our busy service department. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert—overseeing daily shop operations, assigning and reviewing work orders, and ensuring repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll mentor and support a team of technicians, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and maintain strong communication with customers and management. You’ll also help keep the shop organized, ensure proper use of tools and equipment, and handle accurate repair documentation. REQUIREMENTS

• Proven Ford experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of shop operations, machinery, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production deadlines.
• Train new employees on shop procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency.
• Maintain inventory levels of tools, materials, and supplies; order replacements as needed.
• Address any personnel issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
