Valley Auto Repair is currently looking for a Shop Hand to join their team. This individual is someone who enjoys working in a team environment, takes pride in going above and beyond with their work, and is detail oriented. If that sounds like you, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, vacuum & wash vehicles
  • Clean and organize work areas and equipment
  • Assist in the daily operations of the shop
  • Unload and load supplies and materials as needed
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Provide support to other staff members as needed
  • Pick up/drop off parts/customer
  • Assist mechanics with multiple tasks throughout the dayInspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of a shop environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and equipment
  • Good communication skills to work collaboratively with fellow shop

employees

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks
  • Drivers License - Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and

inspections.

  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $38,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
