Description Tacoma Shop Helper / Fleet Maintenance / Parts Runner VCT is currently looking for a Shop Helper / Fleet Maintenance in Tacoma, WA. This Team Member will need to be a self starter and highly motivated. This Team Member will need to be able to work closely with others in a shop environment and be able to take direction well. They will also need to be able to work well alone safely and with minimal supervision (we do not micro manage). Assisting with Trailer repair and picking up and delivering parts will be the primary job duties. This Team Member will work both in and outdoors and in inclement weather to complete the task. Below are a list of requirements (this list is not inclusive): Current and Valid Drivers license Team Player Time management Rolling toolbox with own hand tools (preferred but not required) Ability to move equipment around property and into the shop (Class A CDL preferred but not required) Ability to move from one repair in process to another and return to original repair. Document all work completed. Physically able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally. Physically able to climb a ladder occasionally. Be physically able to open manual tarp systems using upper body strength. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations. This position will be Tuesday - Saturday at our Tacoma shop. Pay: $22.00 per hour (OT after 40 hours)

Responsibilities

The primary job duties include assisting with trailer repair and picking up and delivering parts. The Team Member will also document all work completed.
