Our stainless fabrication division produces high-quality fixtures exclusively for the foodservice sector. The Role As a Shop Helper, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our stainless-steel fabrication shop. This is an entry-level position with a clear pathway into the sheet metal trade, including potential pre-apprenticeship opportunities. You’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Core Functions * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment * Assist with general shop labour and daily operations * Learn and support Laser and Brake operations * Support site installations as required * Develop a working knowledge of Foundry products and fabrication processes Responsibilities * Support daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and workflow * Prepare and pack shipments; load delivery trucks; stage orders for pickup * Assist with deliveries, including lifting and placing equipment on-site * Operate company vehicles (typically 3-ton trucks or F150/pickups) for deliveries * Organize inventory and complete regular counts * Assist with general facility maintenance as needed Qualifications * Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract * Forklift experience is an asset * Previous experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment is an asset * Interest in pursuing a career in the sheet metal trade is strongly valued Compensation & Benefits * $22–$25 CAD per hour * Extended health benefits * Wellness credit * RRSP matching * Opportunities for training, growth, and advancement If you’re looking to build a career in the trades and want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and takes pride in what we build—we’d love to hear from you.
