QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class 5 drivers license (3 years) and a clean drivers abstract, required
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and work with cleaning chemicals safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of heavy equipment with a strong mechanical aptitude, an asset
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Communicate effectively in English

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an employee to maintain the cleanliness of our vehicles, heavy equipment and shops as well as help ensuring a smooth operation in the shop by driving company vehicles to pick up parts and supplies.
The idea candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and would be interested in perusing an apprenticeship in the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive company vehicles to pick up and delivery parts and supplies
• Assist in cleaning and organizing the parts room
• Wash, clean, and detail company vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Maintain the wash bay and shop areas by keeping them clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and reporting any mechanical concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist mechanics/welders with lifting, testing and other duties as required
