To begin this would be a part time role working 8 hour days Mondays, Wendnesday’s and Friday’s. Additonal hours would be an option in the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role would work to clean and maintain a mechanic shops, a truck storage area and South Prairie Transports fleet of vehicles. Under supervision of the operations supervisor the role would including sweeping floors, cleaning operations vehicles, cleaning bathrooms, changing light bulbs, washing windows, stocking building supplies, washing floor, cutting grass, picking up parts, pulling weeds and maintaining the overall condition of the shops.

• Sweep and wash shop floors using brooms and high powered pressure washers
• Keep detailed logs of maintenance completed on buildings
• Restock shops supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need purchasing
• Clean and maintain bathrooms
• Change lightbulbs while working on a ladder
• Washing windows on the interior and the exterior of the building
• Washing operations vehicles using high powered pressure washers
• Communicating with all workers as to overall housekeeping of the building
• Understanding safety data sheets and following all protocols outlined out in WHIMIS
• Cutting grass using gas powered lawn mowers and weed wipers

  Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
