Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Shop Management team member to join our shop management team in the Calgary region. The Shop Management team member is responsible for achieving overall profitability, maintaining efficient shop operations, and providing effective leadership and management to the retail staff. This position serves as a liaison between the shop and the Purdys Support Office and positively supports its policies, programs and initiatives. Your success in this role will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment. This is a permanent fulltime position that requires open availability for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays). You will have the opportunity to: Use sales drive to achieve profit goals Provide Customer Obsessed Service and Sales through leadership by example, training, coaching, managing and scheduling others Select quality team members by effectively recruiting, interviewing and hiring Train and develop team members to become productive and promotable internal candidates Control inventory levels of product and supplies to meet daily requirements.
