OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and managing a team to achieve business objectives in a fast-paced retail environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with a strong track record of leadership.
  • Excellent sales management skills with the ability to drive results through effective team management.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse customer needs.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of the shop, ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise daily activities, including inventory management, delivery schedules, and maintaining store presentation.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and enhance customer experience.
  • Dealing with customers instore to maximise profits and upselling products.
  • Conduct regular task planning for other staff members.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

  • Driving sales through digital marketing through effective messaging and replying to enquiries

  • If deliveries arrive, helping to offload the deliveries and effectively planning where the Items go.
  • Recording all Daily sale intakes and accordingly ordering the correct stock.
  • As we are a retail sales industry, major key sales happen on weekends as that is when customers are available to shop. Weekend availability is key.
