Description Summary of Position Repairs and maintains heavy equipment including engines, hydraulics, and transmissions. Removes, disassembles, cleans, and reassembles components. Uses service manuals to understand issues and selects the proper tools and protocols for an assignment. Diagnoses issues and performs failure analyses. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
