POSITION SUMMARY

As Shop Supervisor, you will be a working supervisor on the floor with the other technicians. You will be working with the first shift Shop Manager to communicate inbound and outbound units to all the other involved parties daily. You will be responsible for managing, scheduling, and keeping the technicians working in an efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for handling drivers’ calls while at work and not at work.

You will be tasked with complying with company policies and procedures and enforcing said polices to other technicians who work for you. Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong driver relations skills
  • Previous Maintenance Management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to successfully lead, motivate, and delegate multiple employees.
  • Results-driven with a team player mentality
  • Able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Previous maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous transportation experience preferred.
