Job Title: Convenience Store Retail Supervisor

Job Overview:
The Convenience Store Retail Supervisor is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining a well-stocked and clean store, operating the cash register, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. This role involves various tasks related to customer service, inventory management, and store upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide assistance with product locations, and answer questions about store items.
• Sales Transactions: Operate the cash register, process purchases, handle returns, and manage cash or card payments.
• Stocking and Inventory: Restock shelves, refrigerators, and displays as needed. Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the manager.
• Store Cleanliness: Ensure the store remains clean and tidy, including sweeping floors, cleaning counters, and organizing displays.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about store promotions, discounts, and new products.
• Security: Monitor customers and report any suspicious activity to management. Assist with loss prevention measures.
• Assisting with Deliveries: Unload and organize deliveries, and ensure items are stored appropriately.
• Compliance: Adhere to store policies, including health and safety regulations, and handle age-restricted items responsibly.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Cash Handling Experience: Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash or card payments.
• Time Management: Able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently during busy periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate pricing, correct inventory levels, and maintain store presentation.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic health and safety regulations.

Work Hours:

• Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on store requirements.
