JOB DESCRIPTION

LYNX Emissions is looking for a technician who is upbeat, energetic, positive, self-motivated, and in a can-do mindset. A technician who is reliable and can work as a part of a team. We require a technician who performs their tasks efficiently, to the best of their ability, and with a high standard of quality.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in the trade.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in-house programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties.
  • Able to work some hours on weekends to accommodate customer deadlines.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Motivated to get the job done in an efficient manner and to specifications.
  • Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.
  • Be proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Prioritize repair work based on urgency and requirements.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Willing to work overtime.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Any mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • A valid driver’s license is a must.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: From $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Shop equipment maintenance and operation (to disassemble and clean DPFs).
  • Work vehicle maintenance.
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Adhering to assigned routes in and following time schedules in GPS-tracked vehicles.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Make sure safety inspections, oil changes, basic maintenance, and minor repairs are done in a timely manner.
  • Managing Inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
