Job Summary Monday-Friday 8am-5pm We are seeking experienced mechanics who are eager to explore a new challenge and expand their horizons in the electrical industry. As a Breaker Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of circuit breakers and electrical distribution systems in various settings.  REPAIR TECH SKILLS  * Able to read electrical and mechanical blueprints * Reads schematic, point-to-point and one-line wiring diagrams. * General knowledge of electrical maintenance  * Knowledge of use of most small hand tools and power tools.  * Aptitude to learn electrical trouble shooting and painting (spray-booth),  and other general mechanical  duties.  * Effective communication skills.  * Able to follow directions and learn how to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.  * Must have basic knowledge of electrical -mechanical assembly work. (charge, close and trip) * Ability to read and interpret simple drawings such as drawings of product charts or diagrams.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  * Cleans electrical parts, Disassembles/ Troubleshoots circuit breakers. * May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cleaning parts, cutting wire to specified sizes, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.  * Review documentation for correct and completed paperwork as required.  * Utilize assorted raw materials and components to assist in assembly of finished products. Close attention is paid to assembly or work instructions to ensure proper assembly.  * Assembles and/or installs various electrical or electronic components as directed and as specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or previously established practices.  * Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, socket drivers, pliers and hand tools.  * Utilizes provided electrical test equipment as needed. Record results of test by both written form and computer data entry.  * Hand tools and equipment must be properly maintained and stored. Only tools in proper operating condition and/or calibration will be utilized.  * Employees must comply with all applicable safety instructions to prevent injury to themselves and others.  * Assist in loading and unloading vehicles with forklift or pallet jack to expedite business.  * Participate in the corrective/preventive action process within their department.  * Advises management on problem correction.  * Operates test equipment relevant to breaker type. *   Takes electrical parts off a breaker to recondition them (aux switch, motor, relay, coils) *   Makes sure electric parts work properly before putting them on a breaker.  *   Supports onsite and emergency jobs when needed. * Perform other duties as requested to achieve departmental goals and objectives.  * May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned   Salary Information: The recruiting base salary range for this FULL TIME position is $47,840 - $52,000 /year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on company performance.
