WE FUEL UPTIME. Position Summary The Shop Technician is responsible for assisting the shop productivity through various stages of the production and repair processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment. * Operate power tools. * Prep products for assembly. * Assemble products in various stages of production. * Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level. * Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process. * Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location. * General shop responsibilities. * Maintains a clean work environment. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): * Experience in forklift operation; ability to become forklift certified. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Mechanical aptitude. * Ability to repeat motions. * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Follow all safety policies. * Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening. * Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
