At our Lawrenceville, GA service center, we’re hiring a Full-Time Shop Technician to support hose fabrication, inventory, shop organization, and customer service. This position plays a key role in the daily success of our shop operations and can lead to advancement opportunities within PIRTEK. Position Summary: The Shop Technician is responsible for fabricating hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, maintaining inventory, managing shop cleanliness and organization, and supporting walk-in customer needs. This is a hands-on, full-time position ideal for someone mechanically inclined and detail-oriented. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies accurately and efficiently Maintain organized and clean workspaces, inventory, and supply areas Assist walk-in customers with orders, payments, and product pickup Conduct inventory counts, receive and restock incoming parts Package and prepare outgoing orders or deliveries Support vehicle upfitting, special projects, and facility improvements Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed Other duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools Strong attention to detail and organization Dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods Schedule & Availability: Technician schedule - first shift (days to be determined) Standard Office/Shop Hours - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Occasional overtime or adjusted schedule based on workload Compensation & Benefits: PIRTEK training provided Career advancement path Paid holidays and PTO available after introductory period Supportive team culture and clean, modern work environment
