Req ID: 135415 Remote Position: NoRegion: Asia Country: Malaysia State/Province: Johor City: Johor Bahru Summary We are looking for a talented MES/Shopfloor Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that solve real business challenges.Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality. Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies. Support and troubleshoot production systems when required. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in software development (entry-level can also be considered for junior roles). Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++). Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and cloud platforms. Understanding of agile development practices and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Physical Demands Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. Typical Experience Two to Four years relevant experience Typical Education Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
