POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Shopify Frontend Developer, you’ll be a key contributor to our e-commerce team, building and maintaining high-quality Shopify themes and apps for the Alani Nu website.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Shopify theme development
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Theme Development and Liquid
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby
• Experience with Shopify APIs and webhooks
• Experience with Git for version control
• Experience working with AI technologies, including GPT-based tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to deliver high-quality Shopify solutions
• Develop and maintain Shopify websites, themes, scripts, and apps
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code with a focus on Shopify Liquid
• Gather and refine technical specifications to align with business needs
• Partner with marketing and creative teams to enhance website user experience
• Stay informed on industry trends and apply best practices to e-commerce strategies
• Coordinate with external vendors and third-party developers as needed
• Research and source partners, apps, and AI integrations to improve Shopify functionality
• Use version control (Git) to manage codebases
