POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Web Developer with a strong background in conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO best practices, and site speed optimization. This individual will play a key role in improving and maintaining our eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and high-performing shopping experience for our customers.
An ideal candidate will not only be technically skilled but also have a creative eye for user experience. We want our developer to be capable of building interactive, dynamic experiences similar to our Slingshot Shop Page (https://ds18.com/pages/shop-slingshot) and continue elevating the DS18 online brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer (3+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Experience with CRO tools, analytics platforms, and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and best practices.
• Expertise in site speed optimization (desktop & mobile).
• Ability to design and implement custom, dynamic page experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Familiarity with headless commerce setups or integrations.
• Graphic/UI design skills a plus.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our Shopify website, ensuring functionality, stability, and scalability.
• Implement CRO strategies to improve conversions and streamline the customer journey.
• Optimize site speed, mobile performance, and overall technical SEO.
• Build custom Shopify pages and interactive product experiences.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices and improve organic traffic.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug to ensure consistent site performance.
• Stay up to date with Shopify updates, eCommerce trends, and industry best practices.
