In everything we do, we honor the hardworking legacy of our founder, Hamilton Carhartt. We drive innovation by finding new, better ways to achieve success. Above all, we believe actions speak louder than words—because we are worn by the hardest-working people of all.
Job Summary
The successful Shopper Insights and Analytics Manager will be the “voice of the shopper” for Carhartt. This role will partner with Carhartt’s business units and connected functions to drive new ways of thinking, providing strategic guidance, and recommended actions for how to win across key retailers and channels (online and offline). Their research expertise is in qualitative and quantitative research studies as well as syndicated data, with a focus on path-to-purchase, in-store observation/virtual shopping, and behavioral data analytics.
The Shopper Insights and Analytics Manager will build the shopper insights capability by using omnichannel shopper learning tools to drive smarter and faster decision making. They will be an expert in understanding the end-to-end shopper decision process, develop deep understanding of the shopper journey, and help bring our shoppers to life within the organization. Using data synthesized across multiple content resources, including macro trends, shopper research findings, sales data, and syndicated resources, the successful candidate will have an inherent passion for building and applying analytic approaches to problems but with a consultative bias towards action and implementation.
