Job Description: Deep dive and understand Customer Strategy including customer shoppers, competitors, financial metrics, space management principles, and communication channels/ecosystem. Develops a solid understanding of category performance in customer including 3M share vs competitors. Collaborates with Channel Sales teams to formulate Customer Plans/ JBP including NPI, Range Reviews, Demand Generation. Develop and implement customer range reviews to win the shelf and drive portfolio strategy in collaboration with sales and CDM Use customer and shopper insights/data to drive retailer ranging, planogram, merchandising and online ranging decisions. Manage Country Channel Ad Merch budget aligned with Category Demand Generation to execute Customer programs in channel (Thru Channel/In store focus driving purchase and conversion). Develop NPI channel execution plans and work with Category Development team to drive demand generation programs to achieve and exceed OP target. Leads the creation, execution and measurement of Customer marketing plan including media and comms, digital, in store displays and promotional calendar. Builds relationships with key customers including marketing and digital teams. Manages & maintains customer content & website with Consumer Experience team. Ensure compliance of brand guidelines when executing customer programs (online & instore). Develop and manages MDF programs including budget management. Undertakes analysis on marketing initiatives and ROI and makes recommendations for future optimization. Evaluates the financial viability of various marketing tactics including promotions and displays. Adoption of CBG Forward operating model. Cross functional collaboration, teamwork and alignment between sales and marketing (communication, teamwork, relationships) Alignment to 3M cultural values and policies including respectful workplace and code of conduct. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Commerce (or related field) — essential. Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Category Management — desirable. Proven experience in Shopper Marketing, Category Management, or Channel Marketing within FMCG or Consumer Goods environment. Strong commercial acumen with understanding of customer strategy, shopper insights, and financial metrics. 3–5 years’ experience across Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Brand roles, collaborating closely with Sales, CX, and Field teams to deliver customer growth plans. Strong background in data and insights analysis to inform portfolio strategy, planogram optimisation, and secondary location execution. Demonstrated success in translating shopper and retail insights into actionable category, merchandising, and marketing strategies that drive measurable business results. Proficiency in data analysis tools and digital marketing platforms preferred. Strong knowledge of shopper and customer marketing principles, including category management, trade marketing, and brand activation. Understanding of retail dynamics, space management, and financial levers that drive category performance and customer profitability. Skilled in data analysis, shopper insights, and market research to inform strategy and execution. Experience developing and managing integrated marketing programs across digital, media, and in-store channels with proven ROI outcomes.
