PepsiCo’s Beverages North America Central team (PBNA Central) is looking for a driven, passionate, and detail-oriented individual to be part of our exciting marketing growth agenda. Working within a fast-paced and innovative environment, this role will be challenged to achieve both business and personal growth through innovation, ingenuity and responsibility.
The retail landscape is evolving rapidly, with customers seeking new ways to increase traffic and basket size. Shopper marketing plays a critical role in PepsiCo’s strategy by helping retailers differentiate in the marketplace and identify growth opportunities. This role will lead strategy, development and execution shopper marketing plans that drive volume, share, topline growth, and digital consumer engagement. This role will also focus on building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity and influencing up to the highest levels of the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Shopper Marketing, this position will oversee one direct report and play a critical role in crafting and executing innovative, insight-led shopper marketing strategies that strengthen our customer relationships, elevate brand presence, and drive category growth. The ideal candidate will be a marketer with leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to deliver impactful marketing programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the shopper marketing agenda for key Central Division accounts, ensuring strategic alignment with customer and brand priorities
  • Craft strategic plans that deepen shopper engagement, increase conversion, and align with both national brand strategies and localized customer needs
  • Partner with sales, commercial planning, and category management to align on priorities and execute best-in-class activations that drive growth
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with cross-functional teams at key accounts
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with retailer marketing teams to align on annual strategies and create mutually beneficial programs
  • Lead post-program analyses to measure impact, generate actionable insights, and continuously improve shopper marketing activations
  • Develop and execute retail media strategies in collaboration with cross-functional partners, ensuring optimized investment and execution
  • Provide coaching and guidance to one direct report

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with budget tracking and invoice processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of Retailer Media Networks (RMNs) and/or digital marketing is preferred.
  • Shopper marketing or digital media experience preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuasively sell ideas.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and apply findings to optimize marketing plans.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint (for storytelling and presentations) and Excel and Circana (for data analysis).
