The Shore Integration and Maintenance Section Head serves as the lead integrator for all fleet, shore activities. These activities include direct liaison with fleet Intermediate Maintenance Activities, Submarine Squadrons, and Naval supply organizations as well as Naval Acquisition entities in support of conversion and routine parts and maintenance support. Additionally, this role will influence and track maintenance and supply policy related to the SLCM-N program. This role will be a direct interface with NAVSEA, SSP and PEOs in execution of SLCM-N conversion and sustainability. 💼What You'll Do Serve as principal advisor to the Fleet Integration and Logistics Branch Head on all fleet maintenance and logistics matters. Lead coordination efforts between Navy Intermediate Maintenance Activities, NAVSEA PEOs and the SLCM-N program to support SLCM-N SHIPALT and TEMPALT installations. Lead Maintenance and Supply integration of SLCM-N into existing Navy systems for scheduling, executing and providing repair parts to support routine and corrective maintenance. Lead a team that will ensure SLCM-N products adhere to all Joint Fleet Maintenance Standards and NAVSUP requirements. Lead teams providing direct operational support for initial in port and at sea testing of SLCM-N shipboard systems. Mentor multidisciplinary government and contractor engineering teams to promote technical excellence and mission assurance. 🧠What You Bring Minimum 15 years of experience in Submarine maintenance and repair. Minimum of 5 years leading large submarine maintenance projects. Demonstrated experience in coordination of multiple Navy military and civilian, and contractor entities from multiple sites to achieve mission success. Demonstrated understanding of Navy methods and procedures governing submarine operations, maintenance, and supply. Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple, disparate Navy, Service PEOs, and contractor stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to represent command interests to outside agencies. Proficiency in Navy supply and maintenance procedures. Active Top Secret clearance. ⭐Bonus Points Experience with Navy Quality Assurance programs. Experience supporting nuclear-capable or strategic missile programs. Experience directing at-sea operational testing.
