Description Brief: The Shore Excursions Manager is ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the shore excursions operation and guests' experience. The role requires the ability to generate sales, provide a high level of customer service, and experience in dealing with customer complaints and in managing logistics. Minimum Requirements: Strong Guest Service & Hospitality background. Degree in Hotel Management or BA in Tourism and Hospitality. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Shore Excursions Manager role at an international luxury establishment or cruise line. Positive and approachable personality, and ability to provide a two-way line of communication with guests and crew. Fluent in English and good verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Excellent knowledge of property management systems (MXP etc.) and hotel operating systems. Creative thinker and proactive approach to problem-solving. Developed organization and planning skills. Ability to deliver a high standard of performance. MLC and SOLAS knowledge.
