We are seeking a skilled Shoring/Piling Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing and executing piling and shoring systems for construction projects.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid Piling and Foundation License (First or Second Grade) and demonstrate a strong background in geotechnical engineering, regulatory compliance, and hands-on project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of piling and shoring systems for high-rise, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
Conduct detailed site evaluations, geotechnical assessments, and risk analyses to inform design specifications.
Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to align designs with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor on-site execution to ensure adherence to design plans, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Troubleshoot technical challenges during construction and provide practical solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in piling/shorting design and implementation.
Skills:
Proficiency in piling design software (e.g., PLAXIS, LPILE, Wallap, Prokon or similar).
In-depth knowledge of geotechnical principles, construction methodologies, and safety standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Additional Notes
Candidates must provide a project portfolio demonstrating piling/shorting design experience.
UAE driving license is a plus.
