A North Bay staple restaurant since 1978, offering subs, rotisserie chicken and specialty Greek food.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Hiring for 1positions, part-time and full-time available.
  • Work schedule can be flexible however would prefer both weekday and weekend availability.
  • Salary range dependent on experience level.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
  • Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests and makes change.
  • Prepares customer orders, according to standards, and in a timely manner.
  • Checks products in front of house and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
  • Food preparation in back of house.
  • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
  • Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant in accordance and beyond accordance of health food standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year restaurant experience in Canada required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable/dependable - comes to work as scheduled.
  • Willingness and readiness to work hard.

Job Types: Full-time, 10 am-6pm, Permanent
Salary: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
