Join us in this role where you’ll take an active part in driving the performance of our trading and balancing activities in the gas market in Northwest Europe while ensuring operational excellence and creating value in the short-term gas market.

YOU’LL PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN:

• trading the intraday and day-ahead gas markets in Northwest Europe to balance and add value to the gas portfolio
• creating value from the flexible assets in our gas portfolio and positions in the gas markets
• monitoring, developing, and trading short-term trading strategies
• improving and developing our operational and analytical set-up through automation and digitalisation
• conducting ad hoc analysis and participating in various projects
• participating in the 24/7 duty roster, covering 365 days a year.

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU:

• have relevant experience from energy markets and preferably gas trading
• demonstrate strong responsibility and proven cross-functional collaboration skills in an international environment
• have excellent communication skills
• are a proven team player who’s willing to go the extra mile when needed to support your colleagues
• have the ability to stay calm in hectic situations and alert in calm situations
• show an interest in acquiring in-depth knowledge of the European gas market.
