Job Description Develop and curate a Pan-Asian menu that offers a fusion of Asian cuisines, blending flavors, ingredients, and techniques from countries such as China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, and more. Responsible for designing innovative and authentic Pan-Asian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation, and consistently delighting our guests. Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness. Proficiency in creating a wide range of Pan-Asian dishes, including sushi, sashimi, dim sum, stir-fries, curries, noodle dishes, and desserts. Mastery of preparing Asian sauces and condiments, which are fundamental to many Asian dishes. Perform any other related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Experience in leading a Pan-Asian restaurant. Additional training or certifications in specific Asian cuisines. Knowledge to create elegantly designed offerings for high-profile guests. Experience with living in remote locations will be a plus. Good command of written & spoken English. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Food safety certification is preferred. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
