The Shotfirer works closely with Bench Assistants and MMU Operators to carry out all tasks related to loading, tying, and firing operations on site. This is a rotational role based at the Bozshakol Copper Mine Site, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. Deliver meaningful impact to our industry, our communities, and the world around us.What you will be doing   Report all Unusual Incidents and Accidents immediately; Participate in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings; Undertake all and any necessary training for Operations, SHEC and site specific requirements; Maintain all personal training against the Orica training Matrix for your role; Ensure all emergency equipment and First Aid kits are complete.  What you will bring   A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to all procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team; Proven ability to work effectively with Bench Assistants, MMU Operators, and other site personnel to coordinate tasks and achieve operational goals; Solid understanding of explosive handling, loading, tying, and firing processes, with the ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently; A responsible approach to environmental impact, ensuring all activities are carried out with sustainability and compliance in mind; Willingness and capability to work on a rotational schedule at remote mine sites, demonstrating reliability and resilience in challenging conditions.
