From vendor communications to client support, workflow optimization to culture building, this role supports the sales team and is responsible for all showroom administrative duties. Key Accountabilities · Set the tone for the showroom by ensuring a welcoming, functional, and visually inspiring environment—every day. · Act as the central liaison between vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely order processing and issue resolution. · Review and manage sales orders, order confirmations, pricing updates, return authorizations, credit memos, and freight claims—ensuring accuracy at every step. · Maintain up-to-date product and vendor data across showroom systems, including pricing, item details, and availability. Communicate updates to the sales team clearly and proactively. · Support daily operations, scheduling, and reporting in partnership with the Showroom Partnership Manager. · Coordinate systems and tools—filing, printers, phones, software platforms—and train assistants or interns on key operational processes. · Jump in where needed to support client service, whether answering phones, setting appointments, or general sales help. · Assist and participate in showroom events and tours – including coordination, supplies, set up and clean up. · Help keep the showroom and shared workspaces organized, clean, and ready for clients. · Foster a warm, can-do presence with clients and colleagues—always anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise. · Participate in team and companywide meetings. Core Values: Must embrace and reflect Pratt + Larson’s missions and values: Enrichment, Cultivating Culture, Tile Dreams, Leading the Way and Taking Ownership Skills and Competencies: · 2+ years in customer service, operations, or office administration—experience in a design or showroom setting is a plus. · Sharp organizational instincts and a love for creating structures that help others thrive. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (bonus if you’ve worked with design or inventory platforms). · Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly across departments and personalities. · Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and a willingness to roll up your sleeves wherever needed.
