JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organised Showroom Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers at our brand new kitchen makeover showroom located with in Dobbies Garden Centre, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that customers feel looked after. You will greet customers and walk them through our displays and book home visits for the designer using our online Google calendar. You will also be required to email and talk to customers on the phone answering any questions and queries as well as keeping the showroom neat, clean and tidy and stocked with brochures. The working times will be 10am - 4pm - 3 days week and you will be required to work alternate Saturdays and offer holiday cover.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a similar role or the kitchen industry is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Training will be given.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in using Google calendar and emails.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A friendly demeanour with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate Saturdays and holiday cover as required.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
