About the role Home Carpet One is seeking a Showroom Operations Associate to join our small but mighty onsite warehouse team. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and ready to contribute to our success. Your responsibilities will include: Receiving & shipping: Own the receipt and dispatch of goods in our in-store warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Fulfillment: Drive our online sample box fulfillment process end-to-end, including printing labels, picking, and packaging boxes Material inspection: Own inspection of incoming materials for damage, ensuring only the highest quality products are stocked in our store Product handling: Cut and stock carpet and other materials, adhering to safety standards and organizational procedures Customer assistance: Provide support to customers when needed, enhancing their shopping experience Maintenance and cleanup: Ensure the warehouse and showroom are clean and organized at the end of each day Ad-hoc responsibilities: Take on additional tasks as required, contributing to our team's flexibility and efficiency Who we're looking for Self-motivated: You are a self-starter who takes initiative, with a strong sense of reliability, dependability, and responsibility Physical ability: You are able to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical warehouse activities.
