Description Showroom Operations Manager Location: Dallas, TX Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Director of Operations Schedule: M-F, 9am-5:30pm Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Position Overview: The Showroom Operations Manager is responsible for the total environment custody, physical presentation, and inventory logistics of our showroom floor. This role focuses entirely on operational excellence, visual merchandising execution, and product flow. Please Note: This is an operational leadership role. You will directly manage the Showroom Associates responsible for the physical movement of furniture, receiving, and floor resets. You will not oversee or manage the Sales Associates, but will act as a critical cross-functional partner to ensure they have an impeccable environment in which to serve clients. Key Responsibilities: Showroom Environment & Visual Standards Daily Readiness: Own the opening and closing procedures for the showroom, ensuring all lighting is optimized, digital/physical signage is pristine, and the space is immaculate before doors open. Pricing & Tagging Compliance: Conduct continuous audits to guarantee that 100% of the furniture, vignettes, and accessories on the floor are accurately and visibly priced. Sample Lifecycle Management: Oversee the organization, checkout, tracking, and replenishment of all fabric swatches, finish samples, and material collateral. Team Leadership & Product Logistics Direct Supervision: Lead, schedule, and direct the daily tasks of the Showroom Associates who handle "pick and pull" logistics and back-of-house operations. Merchandising Execution: Coordinate the receiving of new inventory, freight arrivals, and the safe, efficient physical placement of new furniture out onto the sales floor. Inventory Accuracy: Partner with warehouse and operations teams to track inventory movement to, from, and within the showroom, ensuring system accuracy matches physical placement. Cross-Functional Partnership Maintain a collaborative, service-oriented relationship with the sales team, optimizing floor layouts and removing operational friction so they can focus on client engagement. Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of experience in showroom operations, retail logistics, luxury visual merchandising, or high-end hospitality operations. Proven experience leading a small team focused on physical labor, receiving, or inventory management. Strong organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail (flawless signage, perfect pricing tags, pristine environments). Ability to lift and move home furnishings or assist the team with floor placement when necessary. Proficiency with modern inventory systems, ERPs, or retail operational tools. (Shopify/NetSuite)
