We have a great opportunity to join our Sioux Falls, SD Team as a Showroom Associate! This is an on-site position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance by working with customers in selecting their premium lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinet and countertop materials for residential and commercial spaces. As a Showroom Associate, you will also provide expert product selection assistance and expediate orders from vendors.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Degree in business or interior design preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING

  • 2-4 years of sales experience – preferably in retail/direct and/or showroom experience.
  • Education in plumbing, lighting, home design or equivalent experience ideal.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and personable professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
  • A dedicated passion for providing external and internal customer service.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with MS applications.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors through proactive communication and collaboration.
  • Manage the full order lifecycle from entry and submittal to shipping, billing, credits/returns, and issue resolution.
  • Acts as a project manager for the client throughout the construction stage, including coordinating the design while working with architects, contractors, and tradespeople.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback on products, pricing, and service to internal teams to improve performance.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback on pricing, service, products, customer needs, and concerns and share with appropriate internal customers.
  • Stay up to date on product lines, trends, and applications to provide expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Assist with daily showroom operations while maintaining an organized, clean, and visually appealing space.
  • Participate in market research and strategy development to drive lead generation and business growth.
