This role works closely with the entire showroom team to reach the showroom sales quotas, arranging design sessions with homeowners, designers, and installers to facilitate the sale of product appropriate to the customer’s needs and desires, bringing their tile dreams to life. Key Accountabilities Guides customers through the design and tile selection process providing design assistance and tile insight for a successful installation Achieves sales excellence by tracking projects, following up on leads, closing quotes, and delivering a complete and accurate project Builds and maintains strong client relationships, develops new business, establishes professional networks, and maintains existing accounts through office visits, sales calls, presentations and networking with local architect and design firms Grows industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies and associations Accurately enters all orders, processes quotes, and maintains client records and files in an organized system Establishes good working relationships with company vendors and suppliers Assists with organizing showroom events and ensures client attendance Helps to keep the showroom and workspaces organized and presentable, ready for the next customer Assists with data entry, pricelist and mailing list updates, sample ordering and labeling as needed Participates in trainings, and attends all company and team meetings Core Values: Must embrace and reflect Pratt + Larson’s missions and values: Enrichment, Cultivating Culture, Tile Dreams, Leading the Way and Taking Ownership Skills and Competencies A minimum of one year industry related sales experience Strong organizational skills and record keeping abilities Excellent relationship building and communication skills Proficiency in Windows Office 365, sales software, and customer relationship management programs Highly resourceful and self-motivated as well as a team player able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of personalities and skill levels Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects at once, in a fast-paced environment Performance Standards All Sales employees are held to measurement of the following performance standards: taking responsibility customer focus problem solving/creativity collaboration/teamwork attendance/punctuality safety Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
