Job Title: Showroom Sales Representative
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually (open to negotiation)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Sales Representative to take full ownership of managing our showroom operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting the sales and administrative functions of the showroom.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in retail, showroom sales, or design firm settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a personable, professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required).
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Inventive, resourceful, and resilient under pressure.
  • Professional attitude, integrity, and excellent telephone and email etiquette.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of managing the showroom, ensuring a clean and organized space.
  • Display, price, and tag all samples effectively.
  • Maintain showroom inventory and ensure all current and new products are showcased appropriately.
  • Design and implement product placement strategies upon arrival of new stock.
  • Drive administrative tasks including email correspondence, appointment scheduling, and daily showroom operations.
  • Ensure effective communication with the sales team, sales support team, and clients.
  • Provide top-level customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and delivery concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Respond to all customer emails by end of business day—even if a solution is pending.
  • Support the Senior Sales Executive and Inside Sales team with appointments and follow-ups.
  • Escort and guide clients through the showroom, offering product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Write and process customer orders.
  • Maintain a professional and positive showroom atmosphere aligned with company values and policies.
  • Perform opening/closing duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director and/or Sales Director.
